The forecast of much-needed rain for the Mendocino Coast will just be an added treat to the start of the Wine and Crab Festival. Drippy weather is no deterrent for those who crave the crab! The winter coastal drearies will be made warm and dry by all the restaurants and events that take place indoors. Who cares about a few rain drops or mist when one has a meal of the most luscious crustacean paired with the most delicious wine in front of them.
For the more adventurous; catch your own crab aboard a crab boat out of Noyo Harbor (even in the rain) and have it cooked right on the dock when you return! Oh my goodness, I am making myself VERY hungry as I write this!! My mouth is watering!!
Coming back to the Sea rock Inn after a day of feeding and fun will be the icing on the cake! Book a massage for late afternoon and drop into a nice warm bed in front of a fireplace. Nod off to a movie filmed in Mendocino and awaken to a sumptuous breakfast the next morning.
