Happy New Year!
My name is Robin . I stayed at the Sea Rock Inn many years ago when I was a kid living in Ukiah. I always remembered it as a favoite memory.
I will cut to the chase and explain that when I was 19 yrs old I had a serious psycotic break down that took six years to recover from. Well, six years to just begin to function normally with out the help of half way houses and hospitals. That is something that you always continue to recover from forever. I had the same therapist for six years who went on the journey to recovery with me. I was so blessed to recieve this womens gift for healing and her unconditional love and care. Her name is Elizabeth Rutzick. I have not seen Elizabeth in 20 years but we talk on the phone and we share letters about once every three or four months. We have maintained this contact since 1979.
I would like to treat her and her husband to a nice two or three day stay at your Inn but would like to ask you to help me decide what room or cottage for them and any ideas you might have to make this a beautiful Thank you gift. I can never find anything gold or shiny enough or big enough to thank her for the most meaningful thing in my life that she gave to me, but Mendocino is my favorite place on earth and I can’t think of anything better to share. Unfortunatelly I have to keep with in a $400 budget. I live on disability and have saved for this for a year. But I am thinking it might be enough, if not let me know and I will save longer. Elizabeths husband loves lighthouses and cooking, Elizabeth loves antiuges, the ocean, and folk music.
Note- Elizabeth is seriously allergic to cigerrette smoke and can not be within twenty feet of it. I hope you will be able to help me make this a special gift
